Renowned Writer Lin Jiapin Visits Junzi Guixing Liquor Co., Ltd. Changsha Branch
On May 17, 2023, renowned writer Mr. Lin Jiapin was invited to visit the Changsha branch of Junzi Guixing Liquor Co., Ltd., where he engaged in an in-depth exchange with Mr. Wang Shouxi, General Manager of the company, and other senior executives.
Mr. Lin Jiapin is a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a national first-class writer, and one of the “Seven Young Tigers of Hunan’s literary scene.” One of his representative works, The Life of the Old Street, won first prize at the inaugural International Asia-Pacific War Literature Award in the United States. The novel was translated into English by Professor Li Peide, a world-renowned sinologist, and excerpts were included in the history textbooks of public schools in New Jersey, United States. The Chinese edition was nominated for the 7th Mao Dun Literature Prize and was later adapted into the film Feng Shui, which was included among the first batch of recommended films for Shanghai’s 2011 “Ode to the Red Flag” program.
The trilogy comprising The Life of the Old Street, The Soldier Trafficker, and The Battle of Xuefeng Mountain has also been designated by China’s Ministry of Education as a recommended reading series for primary and secondary school libraries and reading rooms.
During his visit, Mr. Lin expressed his admiration for Junzi Guixing Liquor Co., Ltd.’s innovative approach to wine culture, as well as the achievements the company has made in its development. He also sampled and evaluated the company’s products.
During the exchange, Mr. Wang Shouxi introduced Mr. Lin to the company’s development history, cultural innovation initiatives, product research and development, and other areas of its business. Mr. Lin spoke highly of the company’s spirit of cultural innovation and its market competitiveness. He also presented Mr. Wang with his Anti-Japanese War Trilogy, consisting of The Life of the Old Street, The Soldier Trafficker, and The Battle of Xuefeng Mountain.
